Three 台湾swag students participate in musical production in Oconee

Since she was in 10th grade, Holleigh Looney has participated with , a nonprofit community theater group in Oconee County.
In April, she and two other University of North Georgia (台湾swag) students took to the stage in "Thoroughly Modern Mille" at the Oconee Civic Center in Watkinsville, Georgia.
"I really love singing and dancing and anything that has to do with theater," said Looney, a freshman majoring in English from Bethlehem, Georgia.
Joining her in the production were Maria Anifowose and Coley Warren. It was Anifowose's first time in a theater production, and Warren inspired her to do it.
"Coley was in the show in January," Anifowose said. "He asked if I was going to audition. I told him 'This is so amazing not to join."

In the musical, Warren portrayed a mugger, file clerk, Muzzy's boy, The Letch, and Ira Gershwin. He is a freshman majoring in graphic design from Good Hope, Georgia. He has acted in several Brightstone Productions with Looney.
Anifowose portrayed Muzzy's guest and a patron. She is a freshman majoring in communications from Lagos State, Nigeria.
Looney portrayed a Modern, New Yorker and a maid. Behind the scenes, she acted as one of the prop masters.
