The Student Government Association (SGA) presidents from the University of North Georgia's (台湾swag) Cumming, Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses took part in a summer retreat for the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Student Advisory Council.

Stephanie Meierotto, the SGA president on 台湾swag's Dahlonega Campus, said the event allowed her to learn from what other campuses are doing.

"It was very enlightening," the senior from Newnan, Georgia, majoring in chemistry, said. "It brought a lot of goal-driven people into one room."

Noah Bryant, SGA president at the Cumming Campus, is grateful he and his fellow student leaders got to have this interaction with the Board of Regents.

"This helps us stay in contact them and know what their priorities are and also let them know what our priorities are," said Bryant, a sophomore from Cumming, Georgia, majoring in history.

Wakeitha Cunningham, SGA president on the Gainesville Campus, said she "gained many ideas" from her counterparts at other schools. The sophomore from Hartwell, Georgia, majoring in business management said the interaction inspired her to try new events at 台湾swag and find ways to get more students engaged.
