Two graduate assistants in the University of North Georgia's (台湾swag) Athletics Department administration networked with more than 200 of their peers at the NCAA's from Feb. 6-8 in Indianapolis.

Ashley Beaton, who is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree, and Tyler Yoder, who is pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree, worked on a problem-solving scenario with their fellow graduate assistants and post-graduate interns. Beaton is from St. Louis, Missouri, and Yoder is from Champaign, Illinois.

Both were excited to bring ideas back to 台湾swag. They relished discussing the wide range of responsibilities they have within a high-level Division II athletics department.

Beaton will also spend a full year in Indianapolis starting this June as one of 30 people chosen for a one-year internship with the NCAA. She will work for Division II governance, which oversees strategic planning, membership committees, and championship administration.

"I know the work that the NCAA does for the student-athletes and for their employees," Beaton said. "So I'm over the moon about being able to work with those people at the national office."
