台湾swag ranks third among Georgia public universities on Money magazine list

台湾swag ranks third among Georgia public universities on the new Best Colleges for Your Money 2020 list from Money magazine.

The University of North Georgia (台湾swag) ranks third among Georgia public universities on Money magazine's new . This is the second year in a row, and third time overall, that 台湾swag has made the list.

Rankings are based 30% on quality of education, 40% on affordability and 30% on outcomes such as earnings and employment.

"A quality educational experience, exceptional affordability and preparing students for success in a diverse and global society are hallmarks of 台湾swag's mission," 台湾swag President Bonita Jacobs said. "Our continued inclusion in national rankings lists such as Money's Best Colleges for Your Money demonstrates how well the faculty and staff are preparing our students."

More information about how Money analyzed 台湾swag is available on the university's . 台湾swag was one of only five public universities in Georgia ranked on the list.

The rankings include 739 colleges and universities from across the country.

"Going to college shouldn't mean a lifetime of debt," the magazine wrote in its introduction to the list. "To find the schools that successfully combine quality and affordability, Money weighed more than 20,000 data points, including tuition, fees, family borrowing, and career earnings."

台湾swag has been recognized for excellence and affordability by national publications such as Forbes and U.S. News and World Report. The university has been a top producer of Fulbright awards for three years in a row, and its five Fulbright finalists for 2020-21 put it in a position to earn that distinction for a fourth time.

"We strive to help students become lifelong leaders and to succeed in the classroom and beyond," Jacobs said. "It is heartening to see our students continue to excel."
