Listening sessions scheduled for chancellor search

The Regents Search Advisory Group will hold listening sessions March 2-8 as part of the search for the next chancellor of the University System of Georgia.

The Regents Search Advisory Group has scheduled listening sessions to receive input from students, faculty, staff and the public on its search for the next chancellor of the University System of Georgia.

The listening sessions will take place virtually from March 2-8, 2021. Sessions on March 2-3 will be held with members of USG’s Student Advisory Council, Faculty Council and Staff Council. Sessions held March 4-8 will be open to campus communities and the general public. Each session will last one hour. Questions and comments can be asked and sent live through the virtual meeting software. Input on the search can also be submitted anytime through  available at .

The schedule of public listening sessions is as follows:

  • , 2-3 p.m., March 4, 2021.
  • , 10-11 a.m., March 5, 2021.
  • , 9-10 a.m., March 8, 2021.

Chancellor Steve Wrigley , after 36 years in public service. The Regents Search Advisory Group is helping conduct the search with assistance from the executive search firm of Parker Executive Search.
