I was surprised when I learned I was in the top 30 for this award. It's a really big honor because now I get to represent ̨��swag on this stage with all the ways that ̨��swag has helped me.

Yeah, a great job yesterday on your goal. You know, it was such a good free kick.

Taylor sets the tone for our program. Her work ethic and her leadership push her teammates to be better on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

I love the team aspect of soccer. I would never ask someone to do something I wouldn't do first. I always make sure I put the effort in first and make sure others follow suit.

̨��swag has provided me the ability to get a biology degree while playing the sport I love. It has allowed me to become a strong applicant for vet school with its research opportunities and others.

Sounds good.

We already know the type of role model Taylor is. Now, everyone else is going to find out.

Regardless of the result, Taylor has made all of Nighthawk Nation proud.
