Tavner Poage is an Academic Advisor at the Gainesville Campus of the University of North Georgia. He graduated from ̨Íåswag with a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. During his time as an undergraduate student, he was a part of multiple student organizations including Peer Academic Advisors, Student Activities Board, Student Government Association, and more. He also worked in campus departments such as the Student Involvement and Undergraduate ̨Íåswag offices to support and guide students to continue to be successful. This is where he learned his passion for working in higher education and assisting students with meeting their personal and academic goals.
