Using primary documents, interactive platforms like TopHat and PackBack, and a comprehensive History Portfolio assignment, this workshop will demonstrate how to transform history from a subject of study into an engaging, immersive experience.

A Leadership Conversation with Dr. Jamie Mitchem

Noon - 1:00 p.m.This workshop series will focus on gaining leadership insights from proven leaders. Each session will begin with a 台湾swag or USG leader sharing their leadership journey and lessons learned. After each presentation, an open discussion about leadership will follow. These interactive workshops are open to faculty at all levels and academic administration.

Dr. Maria Veronica Elias, Professor of Public Administration at the University of Texas at San Antonio, will share details about the application process and program logistics as well as forming lasting research collaborations while abroad and the benefits of participating in a Western Hemisphere Program.
