- Students will provide services to medically underserved, rural individuals who have experienced declines in physical function and health status.
- Students will participate in interprofessional education learning experiences to gain an awareness of interprofessional practice/work.
- Students will participate in an innovative/scholarly product over the course of their matriculation.
Expected Program (Graduate/Student) Outcomes
- Graduates/Students will be prepared for entry-level employment as licensed physical therapists.
- Graduates will function as productive members of interprofessional healthcare teams.
- Graduates will possess effective analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, which they apply in clinical and professional situations.
- Graduates will demonstrate professional behaviors and social responsibility through advocacy for their profession and their patients/clients.
- Graduates will provide effective and holistic healthcare to diverse populations in an ethical, culturally appropriate, and compassionate manner.

- The faculty will teach in their area of content expertise.
- Program faculty will engage in the pursuit of continuous professional development through scholarly activities and the promotion of evidence-based practice.
- The faculty will participate in activities related to service to the university, the profession, and the community.
