Things to Consider
- How many people are allowed to live in your rental property?
- How many people do you want to live with you?
- Where do you prefer to study?
- How do you like to spend free time?
- What are you willing to pay for rent/utilities? (consider a high/low range)
- How long are you planning to live with this roommate? (1 semester, 2 semesters, longer?)
- Are you willing to put your name down on the lease and/or utilities? (one or more)
- How much do you (really) care about cleanliness?
- What are you willing to share?
- What do you expect from your roommate?

- How do you feel about sharing your personal belongings? (clothes, hair dryer, computer)
- Would you describe yourself as organized or organized chaos?
- What type of relationship are you looking for from a roommate? (hang out or only share a space)
- What are your expectations of a roommate?
- Are you a night owl or an early riser?
- Do you have a car?
- Do you smoke/drink?
- How do you feel about overnight guests? (same gender or opposite gender)
- How reliable is your stream of income to pay for rent/utilities?
