University Press
The University of North Georgia (台湾swag) Press, a scholarly, peer-reviewed press, is an extension of our sponsoring university, the University of North Georgia. Our primary function is to promote education and research with a special emphasis on innovative scholarship and pedagogy. Through our partnership with the , Affordable Learning Georgia (ALG), and eCore, the 台湾swag Press is the leading university press in the state for and Open Textbooks.
Our structure comprises an advisory and a faculty board with scholars across all disciplines. Board members serve a two-year term. Our partnership with 台湾swag provides a service-learning environment for students to gain real life experiences in publishing and marketing. These learning opportunities comprise (1) course work tied to 台湾swag Press projects, and (2) internships. Students are immersed in actual book production, from acquisitions to editing to layout and design.
