Overview
Dr. Julia Behr has been in nursing education since 1991. Having taught at BSN, CNL, MSN, and DNP levels, Dr. Behr has extensive experience in many areas of nursing. A passion for pediatrics stems from her first nursing position at Childrens Healthcare Egleston on the Hematology/Oncology unit.
Areas of interest include: hematology and HIV, underserved populations, and family practice. Having spent the past 13 years as a Dean and Assistant Dean provided her with opportunities for leadership development, budgeting, and organizational infrastructure. Dr. Behr loves traveling and participating in medical missions (Peru).
